OVERVIEW:
Suitable for all abilities, inclusive rides will be at a pace that suits the group, ensuring the ride is social and fun.
Rides will utilise both the glorious gravel off-road tracks and quiet country roads starting from Ringwood and Brockenhurst, taking in the wooded landscapes, open heathland and stunning views.
The distance will be in the region of 30-40 km (2-2.5hr), with approximately 350 metres of elevation. Suitable for gravel, mountain or e-bikes.
There will be an optional coffee or refreshment stop towards the end of the ride. Cyclists will need to complete a health questionnarre before the ride.
Bike hire can be arranged at an extra cost.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bikes must be in a safe, working order. Please provide your own spare inner tube and pump.
Make sure that your water bottle is full at the start and to bring along energy snacks if needed.
Dress suitably for the day's weather as additional layers might be needed. Cycle helmets MUST be worn.
ROUTES:
Rides from Ringwood will include routes around the Burley, Castleman Trailway, Linwood, Bolderwood and Fritham areas.
Rides from Brockenhurst will include routes around the Ornamental Woods, Rhinefield and Balmer Lawn areas.
